This was the teaching which these legalistic Judaizers had brought to the Galatian churches, after Paul had preached salvation by grace—plus nothing. It caused no end of confusion, and in response to the news of their defection from his teaching of grace, the Epistle to the Galatians was written. In the days of Paul there were three errors concerning Law and Grace, errors which have continued until this day, although the truth is so clearly taught in the Scriptures. These errors are: 1.
